In an effort to help its citizens and businesses, the government of Malaysia has came out with directive to all the banks in Malaysia to provide their customers a six month grace period for the loans they took from the banks.

This directive is a moratorium and will be automative for all customers. Any customers do not wish to have this grace period, can write to the bank and continue to make payment of the loans they took from the bank.
